Urinary: Polyuria – overproduction of urine. Hematuria – blood in urine, causing urine to turn brown or bright red. Urinary frequency – abnormally frequent urination. Urinary urgency – sudden urge to urinate. Urinary hesitance – difficulty staring urine stream. Nocturia – excessive urination at night. Urinary incontinence – involuntary release of urine. Dysuria – painful urination. Reproductive: Genital lesions – may result from syphilis (red, painless, eroding lesion with raised, indurated border); genital wart (painless tiny red or pink swellings that develop stem-like structures); or genital herpes (multiple, shallow vesicles, lesion or crusts). Vaginal discharge – may result from bacterial vaginosis (thin, grayish white discharge); Candida albicans (thick, white, curd-like discharge); Trichomoniasis (malodorous, yellow or green, and watery or frothy discharge); chlamydia (mucopurulent discharge); or gonorrhea (purulent green-yellow discharge). Cervical polyps – bright, red, soft and fragile lesions. Vaginal and uterine prolapse – anterior vaginal wall and bladder prolapse into the vagina. Rectocele – herniation of the rectum through the posterior vaginal wall. Dysmenorrhea – painful menstruation Amenorrhea – the absence of menstrual flow.
